AIA Economist to Speak at WDMA Architectural Door Conference

Kermit Baker, the chief economist for the American Institute of Architects in Washington, D.C., will discuss current economic factors affecting the commercial, institutional, and multifamily markets at the opening session of the Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA) National Architectural Door Conference, scheduled for May 9-10 at the Phoenix Convention Center. It precedes the Door and Hardware Institute’s (DHI) 2017 ConNEXTions and will take place in the same location.

Baker will review the current economic factors impacting the commercial, institutional and multifamily markets. The session will include forecasts the educational, office, retail, health care, hotel, warehouse and multifamily market segments.
