August 21st, 2019 by EditorA webinar hosted by The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) on September 17, will serve as an introduction to Construction Defects (CD) and will discuss developments in the CD industry and explore where the industry is headed.
The webinar, entitled “State of the Construction Defect Industry: What’s the Same and What’s New,” will be led by Pete Fowler and Alex Prokop of Pete Fowler Construction Services, who will review the history of the CD industry and offer an understanding of building performance standards, investigation practices and how they relate to CD.
Both Fowler and Prokop have several years of experience in this field and Fowler has been speaking and writing about CD and CD litigation for over 25 years including a presentation his company gave to the AAMA Western Region Summit in 2011 entitled “The Construction Defect Lifecycle.”
“The CD Industry continues to evolve rapidly, so we are back with more updates,” says Fowler. “We offer a high-level overview of the world of construction-defect litigation. Lots of folks have had to deal with this kind of litigation, and it’s best to have a map in hand.”
Registration is now open and free for anyone interested.
