Windows USA has opened a new manufacturing facility and Arkansas headquarters in Hot Springs, completing its recovery from a roof collapse that damaged a previous factory. Recently, the replacement door and window manufacturer held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new facility at 400 Aviation Plaza, about seven months after the collapse. Officials said the new building allows the company to increase production capacity while consolidating employees who previously worked across several office buildings and factories.
“Seven months ago, our factory’s roof was on the ground. Today, we’re cutting a ribbon on our future,” said Keith Weinberger, president and CEO of Windows USA.
Approximately 300 people attended a ribbon cutting event, including employees, suppliers, local business representatives, Hot Springs Mayor Pat McCabe and Arkansas Lt. Gov. Leslie Rutledge. Attendees also toured the new manufacturing floor.
