CodeShield Construction Group, a full-service residential and commercial contracting company, has officially opened for business in Evansville, Indiana. Founded by local contractors Ted Pease and David Grimes, the firm offerings include doors and windows, as well as roofing, siding and storm damage repair throughout the Evansville area.
While the company name is new, the people behind it aren’t, officials say. Pease and Grimes have worked as contractors in the Evansville community for decades, completing hundreds of residential and commercial projects between them. The two friends founded CodeShield Construction Group in 2026 to bring their combined 55 years of experience under one roof.
“We’ve spent our careers building in this community, and now we’re building something of our own,” said co-founder Ted Pease. “Every job we take on is a chance to show Evansville what CodeShield stands for. We treat every project like a portfolio piece.”
The company is independent, locally owned, and operated from its office at 3848 B N. First Ave. in Evansville.
