Steves & Sons recently announced the promotion of Mike Wamsley to general manager of both its interior and exterior door divisions in San Antonio. The appointment took effect in March 2026.
In his new role, Wamsley manages floor and financial operations for both facilities, overseeing sales performance, execution of production and cross-functional alignment across both divisions. He also helps to “further integrate Steves & Sons’ material procurement strategy, strengthening the company’s systems approach and reinforcing cost discipline, supply continuity and operational excellence,” officials said.
“We are excited, both internally at Steves & Sons and across our broader industry relationships, to have Mike serving in this capacity,” said Sam Bell Steves III (Tres), CEO. “His experience, credibility and commitment to excellence position both facilities for continued growth and long-term success.”
A second-generation millworker, Wamsley brings 40 years of industry experience, including nearly 22 years with Steves & Sons. He has served as general manager of the company’s exterior door division since 2004.
Wamsley’s appointment comes as the company undergoes rapid expansion, with plans to hire approximately 150 employees across its operations, including 30 additional workers in San Antonio.
