84 Lumber recently announced the opening of its newest door shop, near Austin, Texas. Operating since Nov. 5, 2025, the door shop located at 610 Blue Springs Blvd., Georgetown, Texas, marks what company officials call a “significant expansion” of 84 Lumber’s manufacturing and service capabilities in Central Texas.
Spanning 85,000 square feet, the new door shop is designed to support the growing needs of single-family homebuilders and multifamily construction projects throughout the greater Austin metro and surrounding counties, officials said, offering a full line of Masonite interior doors and Therma-Tru exterior doors.
“This new door shop strengthens our commitment to Central Texas builders and showcases our investment in the region,” said 84 Lumber Texas area manager Nick Boyd. “This location enables us to provide greater speed, quality and convenience to customers who rely on 84 Lumber for industry-leading solutions.”
With its current workforce in place, the location’s distribution capacity is optimized to support builders across the region with greater efficiency and consistency, company officials said.
“Our team is ready, our facility is fully operational, and we’re excited to deliver best-in-class service while continuing to build long-term relationships across Central Texas,” said door shop manager Scott LaFrate. “The door shop represents a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing national growth strategy, which includes new stores, expanded manufacturing operations, and enhanced service offerings throughout the U.S.”
84 Lumber currently operates 320 facilities in 34 states, which include stores, component manufacturing plants, engineered wood product (EWP) centers, and door shops.
