United Window & Door has announced the upcoming expansion of its New Jersey production facilities, supported by a $6.5 million investment. United is a regional manufacturer of vinyl windows and doors based in Springfield, New Jersey. It offers a portfolio of products for the commercial and residential markets.

United officials say the expansion adds more than 40,000 square feet of new production space equipped with updated manufacturing technology, including new lines for Super Spacer and triple-pane glass. A second fully automated “Super line” will also be added, increasing United’s production capacity by more than 250,000 windows per year, resulting in the creation of more than 75 new jobs.

“With this expansion, we’re actively responding to the growing demand for our products,” says Chris Derrico, vice president of operations. “At the same time, we’re investing in the most advanced technologies to keep United at the forefront of quality and performance.”

The expansion is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025.
