The Industry’s Biggest Show Returns to Orlando

Recognized as the largest annual trade show in North America for the door, window and glass industries, GlassBuild America is expected to attract many of them to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, November 4–6, 2025. Among the more than 500 exhibitors, the usual categories are expected, including machinery, components and plenty of door, window and glass systems and components.

Exhibitors

Booth 5040: Wizard Screen Solutions

The event’s educational program includes sessions covering construction trends, energy performance, code updates and supply chain management, but there’s no debating that the highlight includes the exhibition floor.

Among the trends attendees can expect to see are a strong emphasis on bigger glass with slimmer frames. Automation and robotics will also be on display in machinery, and digital platforms offer to streamline sales-to-production workflows. Hardware and components are becoming smarter and more integrated, while surface aesthetics and security-driven innovations are opening new markets.

Wizard plans to show off its expanded screens portfolio, including VistaView Plus, which is now available with a 100mm housing. Designed for large openings, the non-pleated system spans more than 20 feet in a single configuration and over 40 feet in a double, making it suitable for patio doors, bifolds and stacking door applications.

The system includes an optional low-profile track that provides smooth transitions and a streamlined appearance, while maintaining durability. VistaView Plus is flexible enough for use in both residential and light commercial.

Five Key Trends

  1. Bigger Glass, Better Views
Products like ODL’s Blinds + Glass XL prove the industry is still hooked on expanses of glass and slimmer sightlines.
  2. Smarter, Multi-Function Hardware
Hardware is evolving to do more with less. Roto’s DuoTilt Hung Window Lock System and Vision’s Constant Force Balance reflect a trend toward integrated, simplified mechanisms that enhance security, ease of use and aesthetics.
  3. Automation and Robotics
Manufacturers continue to embrace robotics and automation for speed and accuracy. Take, for example, GED’s RoboClean-2000, which automates corner cleaning with advanced robotics, and Haffner’s screen machines and Winpro’s Screen Express systems, which streamline screen production.
  4. Digital Transformation
Software platforms are always front and center. This year, examples include Windowmaker Web and Paradigm’s suite of solutions, which give fabricators and dealers web-based, connected systems for quoting, configuring and managing production.
  5. Aesthetics, Aesthetics, Aesthetics
Surface treatments and finishes remain important differentiators, such as American Renolit’s new laminate line. Chelsea’s 9490 Double Hung with integrated casing also delivers clean, traditional looks, while CRL’s modular door rail kit emphasizes flexibility and finish variety for glass doors.

Booth 5073: Pro-Line Automation

Pro-Line will highlight its latest advancement in high-speed sash cleaning at the upcoming trade show: the Pro-Clean CNC-700TL. Designed and built in North America, the system combines speed, precision and efficiency for fabricators of uPVC doors and windows.

The Pro-Clean CNC-700TL features two independent three-axis cleaning heads, along with updated safety measures. It performs cleaning, tilt latch routing and pivot bar fabrication in hung or slider sashes in approximately 30 seconds. When paired with the company’s FHV-5060HS High-Speed Vertical Sash Welder, the work cell can produce up to 800 hung or slider sashes per shift, offering a path toward higher output and improved consistency.

Operators interact with the system through a PC-based interface and a 22-inch touchscreen monitor. For workflow integration, the machine supports electronic data interchange (EDI) via barcode or QR code scanning, allowing for streamlined automation and data exchange across production environments.
