Steves & Sons announced the appointment of Chris Cook, Nick Palmer, Daniel White and Michael Vancleave to key leadership roles. The company also announced a new expansion of its facility in Brigham City, Utah. Both will support growth in priority markets across the United States, officials said.
“We are thrilled to welcome these accomplished leaders who bring a unique set of skills and expertise to their new roles at Steves & Sons,” said Doug Gartner, president. “They will play a key role in helping us continue to deliver on our promise of quality, service and innovation as the company grows.”
In their new roles as general managers, White and Palmer will lead the company’s door plants in two of its fastest-growing markets. White will oversee a facility in Lebanon, Tennessee, while Palmer will manage the Brigham City, Utah plant.
Palmer’s appointment coincides with the completion of a 100,000-square-foot expansion at its Utah facility, which employs 135 people and features a new robotic prime line. The project increases manufacturing capacity, enhances warehouse space and improves material flow, while optimizing operations, reducing lead times and boosting the company’s ability to meet growing demand in the region, officials said.
Cook joins Steves & Sons as a multifamily specialist to lead business development initiatives across the Southeast. Vancleave, who takes on the role of area sales manager, will focus on strategic program development and key product lines across the Midwest.
According to officials, a combination of population growth and a lack of affordable housing have increased demand in the Mountain, Midwest and Southeast regions, which have emerged as priority markets as the company continues to expand its footprint across the United States.
“We are entering a new era of growth and expanding across the country. These experienced, results-driven leaders will chart the course in helping shape the future of Steves & Sons,” said Sam Bell (Tres) Steves III, CEO.
