Profine Group recently announced that it is expanding its global reach for the supply of vinyl door and window systems with the opening of Kömmerling Canada. The move follows the successful acquisition of a division of Fentro Services, based in Morden, Manitoba.
Operating under the Kömmerling brand, Profine Group is a global supplier, providing products to more than 100 countries via 42 sites. Company officials say that the opening of Kömmerling Canada complements Kömmerling USA, based in Huntsville, Alabama.
“This is the first time that Profine Group has acquired an existing distribution partner in the form of Fentro, creating Kömmerling Canada in the process. The Canadian market is of strategic importance for us as a group, and we will look to exploit the opportunities across all provinces with our highly energy efficient window and door solutions, including Passive House applications,” said Dr Peter Mrosik, owner and CEO of profine Group. “Our brand vision is Today for Tomorrow, and our plan is to integrate this into the business culture right from day one for Kömmerling Canada.
