Despite a rough few months of legal battles and facility closings, Jeld-Wen is seeing brighter days when it comes to its reputation among consumers. The company has earned a place on Newsweek‘s list of “Most Trustworthy Companies in America” for the fourth consecutive year—every year since the list’s inception by Newsweek magazine and the research firm Statista.

“This continued recognition is a testament to Jeld-Wen’s core values and commitment to building trust with our customers, investors and employees,” said CEO William J. Christensen.

The 2025 Most Trustworthy Companies in America list was determined by a survey of 25,000 U.S. respondents as well as social listening for internet mentions over a five-month period. The list reflects the perspectives of consumers, employees and investors. All companies headquartered in the U.S. with a revenue of at least $500 million were eligible for analysis. Ultimately, 700 companies were named to the 2025 list.

While Jeld-Wen was number six for the construction industry, it wasn’t the only door and window company to make the list. Andersen Corp. was number 11 in the same category.

Further afield, Lowe’s was number three for appliances and electronics; Ashton Woods and Boise Cascade landed back-to-back at numbers nine and 10 in the construction industry category. 84 Lumber ranked fourth for materials and chemicals, while Avery Dennison came in at number 15 in the same category, and PPG Industries was number 21.

In the retail category, ACE Hardware edged out Home Depot for spots number five and six, respectively.
