Officials for Ultrafab Inc., a North American manufacturer of weather seals and part of Roto Frank Window and Door Technology, recently announced that the company has been honored by the Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA) with an award for 50 years of distinguished service.

Allan DeMello accepted the award for Ultrafab at the FGIA Annual Conference.

Various working groups are organized within FGIA, one of which is tasked with continuously adapting the standards for window seals to new developments. Ultrafab has been actively involved in this group for decades.

Ultrafab’s sealing products meet or exceed the requirements of the highest category, “A,” of the standard 701 for pile weather seals and standard 702 for extruded weather seals. Through its high-quality products and commitment to defining and further developing industry standards, Ultrafab provides valuable services to the industry.

“Our experts are dedicated to ensuring that window and door components are tested, and quality requirements are defined. The hardware and sealing technology of Roto and Ultrafab meet global quality standards, enabling cost-efficient production of durable windows and doors. That is why our products are the ‘Perfect Match’ for window and door manufacturers,” said Marcus Sander, CEO of Roto Window and Door Technology.
