UHD Innovations Appoints Dan Parrish as VP of Product Development
UHD Innovations, a provider of advanced security door and window protection solutions, has appointed Dan Parrish vice president of product development. Parrish oversees the product and engineering team for both residential and commercial markets. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the industry, including a distinguished tenure at Pella Corp. where he held various leadership roles, including engineering manager, chief safety engineer, and senior engineering team leader. In addition to his professional experience, Parrish recently served as executive chairperson for the Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA), where he played a pivotal role in shaping industry standards and fostering collaboration among key stakeholders.
Andersen Names New Executives
Andersen Corp. named Kelly Aronson as senior vice president of Renewal by Andersen affiliate retail operations and digital experience. Renewal by Andersen is the full-service door and window replacement division of Andersen Corp. Aronson joined Renewal by Andersen in 2014 as information technology (IT) director. Aronson moves into her new role following an enterprise position as senior vice president and chief digital officer at Andersen Corp. In her new role, Aronson oversees affiliate operations, including regional management, business development, national training and development, retail transformation, retail data and analytics and the digital experience team. Andersen Corp. also named Jeremy Behler senior vice president and chief financial officer. Behler will succeed the company’s current chief financial officer, Phil Donaldson, who is retiring after 25 years with Andersen. Behler joins Andersen from Sargento Foods, where he held various strategy and finance leadership roles during his 11-year tenure, including serving as chief financial officer.
Kolbe Windows & Doors Expands Executive Team
Ryan Meyers is the new vice president of finance at Kolbe Windows & Doors. Long-time executive team member Mike Tomsyck’s role as vice president of transportation also has expanded to include risk management. Both Meyers and Tomsyck are based at the corporate headquarters in Wausau, Wisconsin, reporting directly to company president Jeffrey DeLonay. Meyers most recently served as the company’s director of finance. Previously, he was the general accounting manager. Part of Kolbe’s executive team for 32 years, Tomsyck’s expertise also includes managing the company’s dynamic and evolving operations as vice president of transportation. To reflect his continuing strategic focus on insurance and business risks, his title has been updated to vice president of transportation and risk management.
Alpen Announces Satterwhite as AlpenGlass Vice President and General Manager
James Satterwhite has joined Alpen High Performance Products (Alpen) as vice president and general manager of AlpenGlass. Satterwhite was hired to lead the company’s manufacturing processes for insulating glass units (IGUs) with thin-glass technologies. Satterwhite previously served as the CEO for Advanced Glazings Ltd, a Canadian company that creates light-diffusion glass products. To meet demand for high performance IGUs, Alpen is working with Kensington HPP to supply east coast demand from a facility outside of Pittsburgh. This partnership, and the hiring of Satterwhite, allows Alpen to immediately scale production and more efficiently serve markets from coast to coast, officials said. “AlpenGlass represents the leading edge in glass innovation,” said Satterwhite. “The evolution of AlpenGlass is about more than profits, it is tied to Alpen’s greater mission to make high performance windows and facades more affordable and accessible for all.”

Deceuninck North America Hires New Midwest Regional Sales Manager
Deceuninck North America has hired Jeff Beyer as regional sales manager for the Midwest region. Beyer has 35 years of experience in the fenestration industry, serving in engineering, sales, and leadership roles at several organizations in both residential and commercial markets. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales and marketing for a curtainwall manufacturer and as vice president of business development for a door manufacturer.

KMR Art Director Honored with Prestigious Service Award
Dawn Campbell, art director and managing editor for Key Media & Research (KMR), the parent company of [DWM] magazine, received the company’s annual Award for Extraordinary Service. The honor is presented annually and was named after former company president Holly X. Biller, who retired from the glass industry at the end of 2024. Campbell, who has been with KMR for more than 20 years, was honored by CEO Debra Levy during the company’s annual holiday party in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Campbell also received the distinction in 2021 and 2010. She is the only employee to receive the honor three times. Campbell designs layouts for each of KMR’s publications and serves as the liaison for its printing.

Robert “Bob” Moss
Robert “Bob” Moss Sr., CEO and son of Moss Supply Company founders Harry and Juanita Moss, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. Moss grew up in the window business, as his parents started Moss Supply Company in 1954, when he was 14. His “extensive” knowledge, skill and experience were instrumental in building a successful door and window business over the years, officials say, adding that he took great pride in the products produced by his employees. The company’s statement noted that Bob Moss and his children, Robbie Moss and Cassie Nott, “have built a reputation for providing a safe and family-friendly atmosphere for employees to work,” resulting in “numerous loyal employees becoming long-term associates with the company.” Moss was 84.
Retirements
Peter Dixen Stepping Away from A+W Software
Peter Dixen, managing director of A+W Software and portfolio manager of the Comas Group, will leave the company on March 31, 2025, after 10 years. Officials say Dixen contributed to the development and growth of A+W and the Comas Group significantly amid his decade with the two companies. The previous contacts for the A+W Clarity and A+W Cantor business units, Dennis Tiegs and Hubert Woz´niak, will remain available to customers and partners. Additionally, A+W’s global team remains unchanged. Eric Herrmann succeeded Dixen as portfolio manager of the Comas Group on Jan. 1, 2025. Herrmann has more than 24 years of experience within the Constellation Software group of companies and was closely involved in the acquisition process of A+W.
Steve Shean Retiring
Steve Shean, technical service representative for Chelsea Building Products, is retiring. Shean was with the company for 38 years and retired on January 31. First hired as a production worker on the extrusion line, he held various positions in production until making his way to technical service. Moving on from the extrusion operation, he became a member of its Allied Products Division as a “lead” person. According to company officials, he was integral in developing methodology and techniques for various architectural shapes, including circle tops, and in providing exceptional service to all customers of Moss Supply Company. The company’s statement noted that Bob Moss and his children, Robbie Moss and Cassie Nott, “have built a reputation for providing a safe and family-friendly atmosphere for employees to work,” resulting in “numerous loyal employees becoming long-term associates with the company.” Moss was 84.
