Woodgrain, a millwork and building products company, recently announced that it closed on the asset purchase of Kelleher Corp. Woodgrain officials say the acquisition includes distribution locations in Sacramento, Ontario, Carneros and Blackpoint, California, along with Honolulu, Hawaii, a manufacturing location in Bear Valley, Oregon, and an office in San Rafael, California.
Kelleher Corp. specializes in the distribution of moulding, lumber and doors, serving customers in California, Nevada, and Hawaii. The acquisition of Kelleher positions Woodgrain for significant growth in these markets and is expected to bring enhanced service offerings, increased product availability, and a continued commitment to quality, Woodgrain officials said.
“We are excited to welcome the talented Kelleher associates into the Woodgrain family and are eager to work with the Kelleher team as we expand our distribution network,” said Todd Dame, president of Woodgrain’s distribution division.
The Kelleher Corp. acquisition is the second that Woodgrain has closed this calendar year. In January, after a protracted court battle, the company finalized the purchase of Jeld-Wen Holding’s plant in Towanada, Pennsylvania.
