WDMA Names John Crosby as Next President and CEO; O’Brien to Retire
John Crosby has been selected as the next president and CEO of the Window & Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA). Crosby will succeed Michael O’Brien, who retires in March 2025.

He spent 10 years in policy and advocacy roles after working in the U.S. House of Representatives. Since then, he has remained active in public policy communications roles with several industry associations.
Crosby gained his first exposure to the building products industry with Hanley Wood Media (now Zonda), leading communications and marketing programs. He also served for eight years as managing director of corporate partnerships for the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Videtto praised O’Brien for his years of service to WDMA, noting “we are lucky to have Mike with us until March to support this transition. We are grateful for his many contributions to the success of WDMA during his tenure.”
