Quaker Window Products Co. has announced that Charles A. “Chip” Gentry joined its leadership team as chief legal officer (CLO).
Company officials say Gentry has been vital to Quaker’s growth and success as he has helped the door and window manufacturer navigate risks and legal needs for more than 25 years. He comes to Quaker with nearly three decades of experience managing and owning top performing law firms. He focused much of his law practice on defending door and window manufacturers and others within the fenestration industry coast to coast.
Gentry routinely speaks nationally on critical and timely issues affecting the door and window industry and writes on various topics for industry publications. Quaker officials say he brings vast experience with litigation, class actions, construction defects, insurance, wage and hour, government relations, and strategic growth.
“After nearly three decades of tight nit relationships, deep friendships, and helping build Quaker to what it is today, I am excited to join the Quaker family to advance the vision of a forward-thinking company that excels in customer satisfaction, innovative products, growth, and providing solutions to projects coast to coast,” Gentry said. “I look forward to Quaker’s next phase of growth and continuing to build relationships with the community, its vendors, suppliers, and customers to continue delivering exceptional results.”
As a member of the Quaker executive team, Gentry will oversee the company’s legal department, with the help of the company’s general counsel, Marty Miller. Gentry also will assist with local, regional and national strategies as the company strives for additional product development, market growth, and success.
“Chip’s track record of successfully negotiating multifaceted and intricate business needs and strategy will serve as an important asset to our growing company as we continue to build on our product offerings and market share to better serve our customers,” said Quaker CEO Kevin Blansett. “Chip will play a key role in our strategic growth initiatives, ensuring appropriate risk management and protection of our interests, two critical elements of high-functioning business operations.”
