The JIAN Group recently announced that Builders FirstSource has bought Douglas Lumber. The Jian Group represented Douglas Lumber in the sale, officials said.
Douglas Lumber was founded in 1976 and is one of the largest independent lumber and building material distributors in Rhode Island, according to company information.

I, along with our existing talented management, will continue to lead, grow, and learn the needs of professional contractors large and small in our region. JIAN was instrumental in this process, overseeing and managing all aspects of the transaction leading up to a successful closing.”
Builders FirstSource is a national supplier of structural building products, value-added components, and services to the professional market for new residential construction and repair and remodeling. The acquisition of Douglas Lumber marks the second such acquisition in as many months for the company.
