ProVia had good news for customers Tuesday. After a hacking incident shut down the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (known as entryLINK), customer access was finally restored.

The hacking incident occurred Friday, June 21, and while entryLINK was available to employees by Sunday evening, Joe Klink, ProVia’s executive director of corporate engagement, told [DWM] the company wanted to ensure that it was 100% secure before opening it up to outside customers.

Tuesday morning production resumed, with an email going out that evening alerting customers that entryLINK was live and they could resume with placing orders and viewing account information. Email services remained unavailable.

Shipping resumed over the weekend following a brief outing Friday, after the hack.
