Sandwich Millworks, a dealer of Marvin brand doors and windows, held a grand opening for its new showroom in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
Dunaway Brothers, a commercial contractor founded by Jeff and Dave Dunaway, acquired Sandwich Millworks earlier this month.
Jackie Link, president of the Chamber of Commerce in Sugar Grove, Illinois, attended the event, held May 16, where she praised the company’s craftsmanship.
“In talking with Jeff [Dunaway] and David [Dunaway], you can tell that it means a lot to them when talking about their products and services and the art and craftsmanship that goes into their product,” Link said. “It is something truly remarkable. We welcome them as a new chamber member and a new business in Sugar Grove.”

Jennifer Konen, village president of Sugar Grove, said it’s been “about 20 years” since the town had a “home building boom” and it needs commercial growth.
“I know they do both the commercial and the residential side,” Konen said. “So, for them, I think they’re in a great market and an excellent location. As for servicing the Chicagoland area, we provide great access for them, and we always like to welcome new business to Sugar Grove. We open our arms to them and hope they are successful here.”
