Decking the Hall with Doors and Windows

In the absence of a show dedicated solely to fenestration, the International Builders’ Show (IBS) serves as center stage for doors and windows each year. By grouping companies according to type, Hall C makes for a potent, glass-filled experience. Tucked away from the show’s smart home pavilion, technologies such as wi-fi-enabled locks and automated window hardware carry surprise appeal. IBS draws its fair share of product debuts and innovations each year. Some of the trends you can expect to find in 2024 include:

• Pocket doors for two-by-six construction;
• Narrow profile frames paired with slimmed-down hardware;
• Doors and windows designed for Energy Star 7; and
• Impact-resistant products with luxury and mainstream aesthetics.

The show floor opens Tuesday, February 27, at 9 a.m. Following is a list of companies and products to add to your plan.
