According to a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, Jeld-Wen Holding Inc. appointed Michael A. Leon as the company’s senior vice president and chief accounting officer. Leon replaces Scott Vining, who will be leaving the company after the close of its first financial quarter to ensure a smooth transition.

Leon has extensive financial and accounting experience, including financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and internal audit, among others. He served as chief accounting officer and corporate controller of Sealed Air Corp. from June 2018 to March 2023, where he was also assistant corporate controller from December 2014 until his promotion. Prior to Sealed Air, Leon held various accounting and finance positions with increasing levels of responsibilities at several diversified global manufacturing companies, including SPX Corp., United Technologies Corp. and Goodrich Corp.
