Window World of New Orleans recently donated $70,000 to Son of a Saint to support their Capital Campaign and Annual Gala. The donation continues Window World’s philanthropic efforts in the region and supports Son of a Saint’s mission to transform the lives of fatherless boys through mentorship, emotional support, development of life skills, exposure to constructive experiences and formation of positive, lasting peer-to-peer relationships.

“We are thrilled to partner with Son of a Saint on the life changing work they perform for New Orleans’ youth,” said Jerell Thomas, president of Window World of New Orleans. “As a company, we believe supporting the region in which we work is critical to building a stronger and more vibrant community.”

The donation to Son of a Saint’s Capital Campaign will be used to support the renovation of Son of a Saint’s permanent headquarters, located in the heart of Bayou St. John at 2803 St. Philip Street. This 16,000 square foot facility features a technology hub, culinary center, fitness center, among other key elements, and will serve as a hub for Son of a Saint’s comprehensive programming, and a safe haven for its mentees.

Son of a Saint’s Annual Gala is the organization’s signature fundraising event that brings together supporters, partners, friends, and community leaders for a night of mission-driven fun and celebration. The event raises critical support for Son of a Saint’s comprehensive programming including academic support, case management, enrichment, mentorship, mental health support, and travel.

“We are extremely grateful to Window World for this impactful investment in our organization” said Son of a Saint Founder and CEO, Bivian “Sonny” Lee, III. “The Window World team has fully embraced and championed our mission in a way that is nothing short of transformational. I am confident our ongoing partnership will continue to generate impact, not only for our mentees, but for our broader community.”
