Florida-based Hoffmann Family of Companies has acquired Ferche Millwork and its brands, including Ferche Frames, Firerated Frames, Ferche Lumber and 87 acres of land in Rice, Minn., and Mount Pleasant, Tenn. The move adds to Hoffman’s global diversification strategy and balance with existing manufacturing companies.

Headquartered in Rice, Minn., Ferche Millwork was established in 1958 and today produces more than 13,000 products per year.

We look forward to a new era at Ferche Millwork under the Hoffmann Family of Companies umbrella,” said Gerald Grider, president, Ferche Millwork.

In Minnesota, the Hoffmanns currently own and operate DHR International, the 5th largest privately owned executive search firm in the world and the Minneapolis Queen paddle boat. In Tennessee, its DHR International in Franklin and the Volunteer Princess luxury yacht and operations in Knoxville. The acquisition of Ferche Millwork and lumber further expands their investment into the Midwest and in states where they currently operate.

Ferche Millwork leadership and employees will continue with the company and are currently looking to hire for multiple positions which can be found on the Hoffmann Family of Companies job board.
