Four Out of Five Americans Cite Issues of Housing Affordability

According to a new nationwide survey conducted by Morning Consult on behalf of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), four out of five American households believe the nation is suffering a housing affordability crisis.

An August-survey of more than 19,800 adults across partisan, regional, demographic and socio-economic categories assessed the public’s attitude on affordability. Comparisons to 2018 results show worsening opinions at the state and nationwide levels.

Spending Estimates Show Opportunities in Nonresidential Construction

For door and window companies looking to add new products or services, recent data shows opportunities in nonresidential, where construction is expected to close out nearly 4% up this year. While growth will be more modest in 2020, at more than 2% there’s still plenty of upside to partake in.
