Joe LaMuraglia

JELD-WEN Holding Inc. has announced that auto industry communications veteran Joe LaMuraglia has joined the company as director of corporate communications. He will be responsible for all external communication activities in the U.S. market for the company.

LaMuraglia spent close to a decade in various roles of the communications function at General Motors, including managing corporate social media strategy, leading the GMC brand PR team, running broadcast communications in NYC and spearheading the LGBTQ outreach for the brands.

“JELD-WEN has fantastic stories to tell about our people, our products and our communities,” said Tim Craven, EVP of Human Resources. “The addition of Joe to our growing team will help us share the great things happening at JELD-WEN.”

LaMuraglia has a B.A. in Public Relations from N.C. State University, an M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of Global Management and is a member of the inaugural class of the LGBT Executive Leadership Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In his spare time, he likes to remodel older homes. LaMuraglia will report to the vice president of communications, Noreen Pratscher.
