[DWM] magazine is proud to announce the addition of a new industry blogger: Dave Yoho, of Dave Yoho Associates. A decades-long business consultant serving the door and window industries, Yoho will provide key insights into sales and business practices for [DWM]’s audience.

Dave Yoho

Yoho founded a residential roofing company at age 28, which eventually operated in 13 states and in the early ‘70s had revenues of $60 million. In “today’s dollars,” he says, “that’s $250 to $300 million.” Representing Fortune 500 companies as well as entrepreneurs, his company focuses on profit improvements, turn-arounds and in-depth problem solving.

Mr. Yoho is a steadfast and highly respected expert in home improvement sales and someone that every business journalist loves to have on speed dial,” says [DWM] editor, Drew Vass. “To have his ongoing advice available to our readers is a real honor for our publication.”

Yoho was the guest of [DWM]’s April 9 podcast. Scheduled to publish his debut article August 13, readers can then expect to see his articles announced via [DWM]’s newsletter on or around the second Tuesday of each month.

In the meantime, Yoho’s company and MarketSharp Software announced they will host a webinar this Wednesday: “How to Thrive Not Just Survive in Your Hiring and Training Effectiveness in this New Environment.” As buying habits change amid COVID-19, presenters will zero in on how door and window companies can pivot to address those needs—including bringing on and training quality salespeople.
