84 Lumber announced expansion plans following its 2019 success and has recently opened a new location in Greenville, S.C. The new door shop and engineered wood products hub officially opened in March and is now serving customers, according to the company.

The new 58,000 square foot facility currently runs one interior door line and has plans to open an exterior door line by early July as well as a second interior line in the future. The store currently has 10 employees and aims to make additional hires. When the new store opened, the company relocated some of the engineered wood products operation to Wellford, S.C.

“The Wellford/Spartanburg area is an area we are targeting for future growth, so having a location there will set us up for success and allow us to better service our customers in those markets,” said Matt Rinck, 84 Lumber area manager.

The company is also moving forward with its other expansion plans around the country. The Mansfield, Ohio components plant is currently under construction and will soon provide trusses, floor panels and much more to the surrounding area, according to the company.
