Rob Lopez

The Glass Guru franchise recently promoted Rob Lopez to vice president of franchise business development and has promoted Sean Young to the position of Director of Technology and Communications. Lopez joined the Glass Guru franchisor team in 2015 and Young was hired in 2012.

The Glass Guru organization identified significant value in the path Lopez has taken during his first five years with the organization, and the success franchise owners are seeing when following his guidance, according to the company.

“From the first time I saw Rob speak to a group of owners at a franchise convention, I absolutely knew we had found a gem. Rob has an infectious leadership quality and rounded experience from his time in the military, semi-pro sports and then as a successful franchise owner himself with a large property restoration brand. Rob has demonstrated his ability to connect with owners and get them focused on the numbers, tasks and good habits that matter most. I greatly look forward to seeing Rob continue to positively impact the organization in this new leadership role,” says Dan Frey, founder and CEO of The Glass Guru Franchise Systems Inc.

Sean Young

Young’s promotion comes with The Glass Guru facing an evolving environment on both the technological and communications front. He is currently responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology infrastructure, as well as the development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of technological initiatives to the organization. This includes research and procurement of new technology solutions for franchisor team members and franchise users alike. Larger scale initiatives like overseeing the organization’s consumer website, franchise development website, company Intranet site, and virtually all SaaS applications in the company tech stack are all part of Young’s responsibilities.

The inclusion of brand communications in his new role is very much indicative of the role he has played over the years as the informal “PR Director” for the brand. Young will continue in this role, in a much more formalized way moving forward.

“Sean has made himself an invaluable asset of the company since he began with us back in 2012. With his broad experience in franchise operations with several well- known brands, Sean has filled many gaps for us leading up to this critical role. Having someone as qualified as Sean behind the wheel of our tech stack and communications, I greatly look forward to seeing the continued evolution of these critical areas,” says Frey
