The Glass Guru has opened a new franchise location in Tennessee. Franchise Owner Brant Lanham completed the company’s initial franchise training on February 28, 2020.

This milestone marks the completion of a great deal of preparation and education conducted by Lanham in the preceding weeks and months, all in preparation for the launch of his new small business, according to the company.

Lanham initially began looking at franchise ownership because he wanted to “be a leader, and grow a great team.” He already had franchise experience, with his current family ownership of a Totally Nutz franchise location.

“Professional skills that will help me succeed in this business include leadership, accountability, drive and self-motivation. From speaking with Dan [The Glass Guru founder and CEO] initially [during the franchise discovery process], The Glass Guru looks for owners who are focused on building the business and the team. That’s what I am good at and enjoy the most,” says Lanham.

Lanham’s franchise location, The Glass Guru of Hendersonville, Tenn., is the company’s fifth franchise location in the state of Tennessee.

“While it’s been sufficiently demonstrated that The Glass Guru’s business model can thrive in any state or province, there are several states that boast incredibly business-friendly environments, along with a more-than-adequate demand for the great glass, window and door products and services The Glass Guru offers our customers. Tennessee is no exception to this philosophy, which is why we’ve seen so much growth in that area over the past five years,” says Dan Frey, founder and CEO. “We’re really excited to have Brant on board as the company’s newest franchise owner. His energy, drive and prior experience prepare him greatly for what’s to come. We’re looking forward to big things happening in Hendersonville, Tenn.”

Lanham has been working hard to ramp up his business in what’s been a very challenging few weeks, according to the company. While the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic has significantly limited most small businesses, as a designated essential industry, The Glass Guru remains open for business.
