Quanex Building Products announced Friday several key leadership appointments, that went into effect the same day.

Scott M. Zuehlke was named senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. Zuehlke joined the company in 2016 as vice president, investor relations, and treasurer, and most recently served as interim chief financial officer. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Houston.

Mark A. Livingston was appointed chief accounting officer. In addition to his new role, officials say Livingston will continue to serve as vice president and controller, a position he began in 2019. Livingston is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Texas.

In addition to his existing role as deputy general counsel, Paul B. Cornett now assumes the rol of senior vice president and replaces Kevin P. Delaney as secretary. Cornett joined the company as a staff attorney in 2005, where he has since held various positions of increasing responsibility, according to the company. He earned his bachelor of arts degree from Rice University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Chicago Law School.

“Our commitment to the development of our people is fundamental to our success, which underscores my confidence in these talented leaders as they embark on expanded and new roles,” Chairperson, president and CEO Bill Griffiths commented. “I would also like to thank [Delaney] for his guidance, leadership and commitment to Quanex over the years and wish him well.”
