Officials have confirmed that Marvin Windows and Doors’ facility in Cortland, N.Y., will close at the end of 2019 due to the company’s recent acquisition of distributor A.W. Hastings and Co.

The N.Y. operations will be moved to the A.W. Hastings base facility in Enfield, Conn. to “streamline operations in this region,” according to a statement provided to [DWM] from Marvin officials.

“As of December 31, 2019, Marvin’s Cortland, N.Y., facility will no longer operate as a distribution center,” the statement reads. “This decision was recently made after careful consideration of many factors.”
