Gary Winkler, executive vice president at Joyce Manufacturing (Joyce), announced that he will be retiring the end of this year after 20 years with the company.

“Right now, I am taking 2020 off and going to travel the country for leisure,” says Winkler. “At this point, I am not ready to say I am retiring.”

Winkler started hanging siding after college in 1975 and then went into wholesale distribution.  From there he worked 11 years as vice president of sales and marketing for Great Lakes Window and then two years in the same position at Soft-Lite Windows until he joined Joyce in 1999. Winkler played a critical role in helping the company add vinyl replacement windows to their product line and increase the geographic area of dealers.

Vice president of sales Ken Dunbrook will assume Winkler’s duties the first of the year.

  1. Wink….. Where the hell are you? And why are you not on Facebook? I have searched you out in the past hoping you would one day appear, but no. So I googled your name and BAM… there you were. Hope all is well with your adventures.
