Roto Frank of America Inc. recently presented a check to the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs, at the company’s headquarters in Chester, Conn. Chris Dimou, president and CEO, presented the donation to Commissioner Thomas J. Saadi and Tammy Marzik, manager of community advocacy.

“Our yearly charity donation is solely from the efforts of our Roto employees through payroll contributions or events put on through the employees, and it’s a great honor to present this donation to the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs,” said Dimou. “We are proud to support the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs and their efforts to improve the lives of Connecticut veterans and their families through invaluable resources.”

Roto employees voted to select the Department of Veterans Affairs over five other recipients as the beneficiary of campaign efforts. Funds were raised throughout 2018 by employee events, such as bake sales, flag sales, and cookouts. Employees could also opt in through payroll deductions.
