As numerous door and window companies start the year with changes to executive leadership, PGT Innovations joins the list today with four new appointments—including Bob Keller, who now serves as senior vice president and president of the company’s Southeast region, and Scott Gates, who joins as senior vice president and president of the Western region. Officials for

the company suggest that both appointments better align its leadership with an expanded national footprint, following the acquisition of Western Window Systems.

“This structure facilitates the full integration of our organization, leverages our technical expertise, customer focus, and operational capabilities, and further solidifies PGT Innovations as a leading company with a national portfolio of leading brands,” says PGT Innovations’ CEO and president, Jeff Jackson.

Keller, who joined the company in 2016 as vice president of operations, will retain responsibilities over all aspects of operations for the company’s CGI, PGT Custom Windows + Doors, and WinDoor brands in Florida, as well as expanded oversight of the business unit, including sales, marketing and customer service. Prior to joining PGT Innovations, Keller served as the vice president of global operations for Moen, and spent several years with Therma-Tru Doors in a variety of positions.

Gates will continue current responsibilities over the Western Window Systems brand, including oversight of sales, marketing, customer service and all aspects of operations, with expanded oversight of PGTI’s legacy brands that are sold into the Western region. In addition to the Western portions of the U.S., the region includes the Northeastern U.S., Mexico and Canada.

Rob Moulds has been appointed vice president of sales for PGT Innovations’ Southeast region, reporting to Keller. Moulds has been with the company for more than three years, and brings to his new position more than 25 years of experience in both manufacturing and distribution of building material products and services throughout North America, company officials report. Don Vichitvongsa has also been appointed vice president of manufacturing for the Southeast region, also reporting to Keller. Vichitvongsa has supported PGT Custom Windows + Doors for more than a year now and possesses more than 20 years of manufacturing and engineering experience, company officials say, including practice in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
