Stürtz Machinery Inc., based in Twinsburg, Ohio, recently announced the addition of Tony Mehringer as vice president of sales and marketing, and Brendan Kirven to the newly created position of operations manager.

According to company officials, Mehringer will be responsible for managing and further developing machinery sales in North America. He has been in the fenestration industry for more than 25 years, beginning with selling manufacturing equipment and most recently in sales management roles for a national vinyl extrusions supplier.

“We are very excited to have Tony on our team,” says Ellis Dillen, president and CEO. “His knowledge of the window and door industry, track record of success and strong reputation for integrity will be extremely valuable to Stürtz’ future.”

According to company officials, Kirven, who has more than 20 years of experience in the PVC machinery industry, will be responsible for engineering, project management, manufacturing and service. He initially joined Stürtz as a mechanical engineer and has served in many roles, most recently being responsible for project management, providing interface between sales, engineering, manufacturing and customers.

“Brendan has been with us since almost the beginning,” says Dillen. “His knowledge of our products and our customers gives him the expertise to ensure each project moves efficiently from initial order to set up in the customer’s plant.”
