Energy Star Day falls on October 21st this year—an occasion the program uses to promote participation and awareness among companies and individuals. The event comes amid the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Month and a new “Change the World, Start with Energy Star” campaign. Partnering companies are encouraged to promote the program’s benefits and approved products, via events, by participating in the program’s Pledge Driving Challenge, or by simply spreading the word to customers through various marketing initiatives. For door and window dealers looking to stimulate sales, the program supplies free outreach materials, as well as customizable ads and signs.

Andersen Windows is among the companies celebrating Energy star day. The company has been an Energy Star partner for 20 years, and plans to promote energy awareness on the 21st.

“Andersen will encourage our internal and external audiences to make a difference in protecting the planet for Energy Awareness Month and Energy Star Day on October 21st,” says Eliza Clark, Andersen director of sustainability and environmental.

MI Windows and Doors is also participating. The company has been an Energy Star partner for over 20 years.
