Soft-Lite has entered into a partnership with Leap, a mobile application for home improvement business owners that lets them create estimates, secure financing and execute contracts in real-time for homeowners via tablets when selling in the home.

According to Leap, the app can cut costs for home improvement companies by converting the all-paper sales process into digital documents. This can eliminate inaccurate measurements, provide digital library of brochures and company literature, convert paper price guides to digital price guides and shortensales employee training time.

According to the company, Soft-Lite is the only window manufacturer that will have links to its pricebooks within the Leap system – increasing its customers’ efficiency and saving time. Soft-Lite dealers will also have access to Soft-Lite’s product brochures in the Leap system. In addition, Leap allows customers to add other home-improvement products that their company sells – roofing, siding, etc. – into its system. This means that remodelers can digitize every step of the in-home sales process – including estimating, financing, contracting and real-time communication
