Renson, a European developer and manufacturer of sun shading and ventilation system solutions with operations in the U.S., recently received international awards for its Linarte design façade cladding, Panovista Max sun protection screen and the user app for its new Healthbox 3.0 ventilation unit.

Linarte and Panovista Max received Red Dot Product Design awards. The Healthbox 3.0 app won the iF Design Award.

“We are particularly proud of these awards,” said Renson CEO Paul Renson. “It indeed shows once again that we can distinguish ourselves as a pioneer in our industry with innovations that perfectly meet the needs of the market.”

The Red Dot Design Award is an international product design prize given by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. It began in 1955.

The Red Dot jury said the Linarte façade is not only sustainable and easy to maintain, but also highly customizable.

“The design of the Linarte system focuses on offering users versatility and easy integration to enable them to achieve a creative facade cladding solution,” the jury said.

Panovista Max allows large glass-on-glass corner windows or corner sliding windows to be fitted with sun protection screens without obtrusive cables or guiderails in the corner. The two cloth pieces are driven by a single motor, and they zip up in the corner while lowering.

“The minimalist design of the Panovista Max fabric sun protection screen is pleasing for its almost invisible mechanism and high degree of practicality,” according to the Red Dot Jury.

The Healthbox 3.0 app for the Renson Healthbox 3.0 ventilation unit won the Design Excellence category at the iF Design Award, a design competition organized by the iF International Forum Design GmbH from Hanover, Germany.

The app can convert an abstract concept like indoor air quality into an intuitive interface using color, graphs and tips.
