ProVia has promoted Lonnie Hershberger to the newly created position of vice president of customer experience. Hershberger will become a member of the corporate leadership team and will begin his new role on January 1, 2018.

This position was created to ensure that the company continually improves the experience customers have come to expect from ProVia. Hershberger will be responsible for leading the customer service, installer certification program and field service teams and taking these customer-centric functions to the next level.

Hershberger began his career in 1995 when the company (named Precision Entry at the time) purchased Sugarcreek Industries. He was hired to be the customer service manager for Sugarcreek Industries. In 2000, Lonnie was asked to also serve as customer service manager for Precision Entry, so he split his days between the two locations. Over the years he developed each team and eventually brought them together at the Walnut Creek facility.
