Tom Himmel has been appointed the CEO of RiteScreen, and Randy Iles has announced his retirement as CEO of the company after 44 years in the building products industry. Iles has led RiteScreen since its acquisition by Seven Point Equity Partners in 2014.

“It has been my great honor and privilege to lead the RiteScreen team,” Iles said. “Together, we have built a very strong company. Our newly deployed product and service strategy has dramatically increased our customer base, many of whom are outsourcing their window and door screen requirements for the first time. The number of growth options now available to us in the coming years has led me to conclude this was the right time to pass the baton to a new CEO who will write the next chapters of the RiteScreen story.”

Iles will continue as an operating partner of Seven Point Equity Partners.

Himmel joins RiteScreen following his role as vice president Americas and engineered foams for Armacell LLC, a supplier of flexible foam insulation for the equipment insulation market. He has enjoyed a 26-year career in the building products and chemical manufacturing sectors.

RiteScreen was founded in 1947. The company says it is the largest independent manufacturer of window and patio door screens in North America. It serves window and patio door manufacturers nationally through seven plant locations across the United States.
