After an extensive search with offers from numerous municipalities both within and outside of Ohio, GED committed to keeping its new state-of-the-art global headquarters in northeast Ohio. (The company is presently located in Twinsburg.) The building is scheduled for move-in by December 2017.

“GED is committed to partnering with our customers by providing them with automation solutions aimed at increasing their product quality, expanding their operational capacity and ultimately helping to reduce their overall manufacturing costs,” said GED president and CEO Bill Weaver. “This new location will accommodate these goals as well as facilitate GED’s continued growth.” He further added, “We were seeking the appropriate site to house our team of GED associates while providing an environment that facilitates technical innovation, employee attraction, is centrally located and provides for future expansion options. Our firm has been located in this region for 40 years and we are delighted that we can remain close to our employee base, while also keeping our roots in Northeast Ohio.”

GED designs and manufactures fabrication and software systems that serve the door and window manufacturing industry throughout North America and Europe.
