Door and Window Market (DWM) magazine was named a finalist for three American Society of Business Publication Editors’ (ASBPE) awards today, encompassing the staff’s efforts in print, video and design.

In the design category Saundra Hutchison, art director, is a finalist for a national award for her Opening Page/Spread, “On The Fast Track,” which showcased DWM’s Fastest-Growing Dealers.

In the regional nominations, DWM editorial director Tara Taffera received a nod in the Best Profile category for her feature article on ProVia.

In the regional webcast category, DWM’s video newscast is also a finalist. Those who worked on the nominated submissions include Taffera; Chris Bunn, video producer; and contributing editors Casey Flores, Nick St. Denis and Ellen Rogers.

Also named finalists were two of DWM magazine’s sister publications, USGlass and Window Film magazines. USGlass is up for three awards, and Window Film is up for two.

“Key Communications staff are finalists in eight categories, which is a record for us,” said Debra Levy, president of DWM’s parent company Key Communications Inc. “I am so proud of everyone on our staff and all the hard work they put in every day.”

In February, DWM and USGlass magazines were named as finalists in the 63rd Annual Jesse H. Neal Awards competition for editorial excellence. The winners will be announced on March 31 during the annual Neal Awards ceremony at Pier Sixty in New York City.
