Gerkin Windows and Doors, based in South Sioux City, Neb., has a new brand identity that company officials say has a more contemporary look and feel. The 84-year old company unveiled the new brand and will soon have it implemented company wide.

The company said its success depends upon keeping pace with technology, manufacturing techniques and customer aesthetic tastes. Along with evolving product lines and manufacturing processes, Gerkin felt it was time to evolve their brand as well.

The new logo combines the initials of Gerkin Windows and Doors (GWD) into a circular mark that creates a strong unified brand. Company officials believe the new logo will be more unique and recognizable from a distance, offer a more modern, contemporary look and be more versatile for use on window stickers, signage, banners, promotional items, apparel and more.
