The global revenue from energy-efficient windows is expected to grow at rate of 9.71 percent from 2015 to 2023, according to a new study by Transparency Market Research. The market is expected to reach $286.5 billion by the end of 2016 and$479.9 billion by 2023.

By volume, 3.12 billion square meters of energy-efficient windows will be in use by 2023. Emerging economies are creating a high demand for double-glazed windows, a segment that is expected to generate close to $345 billion by the end of 2023.

North America is expected to keep its leading position in revenue generated as well as volume consumed between 2015 and 2023. By the end of 2023, the region should hold 58.41 percent of the market by  volume.
