Arkema SA announced plans on Wednesday to acquire Dutch sealants and adhesives maker Den Braven in a deal worth $534 million, or 485 million euros.

Den Braven has eight production sites around the world and more than 1,000 employees. It should add sales of about 350 million euros, and its integration with Bostik, which Arkema bought in 2015, could save 30 million euros over five years, Arkema said in a statement.

The planned acquisition is subject to the approval of antitrust authorities in the countries concerned. It’s expected to close in the final quarter of 2016.
