Door and Window Market (DWM) magazine was nominated in the American Society of Business Publication Editors’ (ASBPE) awards. DWM will now compete in the regional awards against others in the Mid-Atlantic region. DWM editor Trey Barrineau was nominated in the competitive feature article category for his article, “Where Have All the Workers Gone?” Also nominated was art director Saundra Hutchison.

“We are thrilled that DWM is once again nominated for an ASBPE award,” says DWM publisher Tara Taffera. “To be included in the feature article category is a special honor and this is a very competitive category. I am so proud of the work Trey did on this article, which looks at the serious problem of ‘vanishing workers’ in our industry.”

Also receiving nods were DWM’s sister publications USGlass and Window Film magazines. The latter was nominated in the Video Tutorial category for its TintTV program. USGlass received three nods, two for editorial and one for front cover design.

The regional awards ceremony will take place June 28 in Alexandria, Va.
