On Monday, Ply Gem reported net income of $9.1 million for the fourth quarter of 2015, a year after reporting a loss of $12.5 million during the same period.

The Cary, N.C.-based maker of patio doors, windows, vinyl siding and other products reported a profit of 13 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, hit 14 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 4 cents per share.

The company  posted revenue of $430.5 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported net income of $32.3 million, or 47 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $1.84 billion.
