An equipment issue resulted in a phone call to the fire department at Jeld-Wen’s Craigsville, W.Va., plant on Thursday, according to an on-site employee.

The employee, who prefers to remain anonymous, told DWM magazine that while “social media is going crazy with rumors,” nobody was hurt and none of the plant’s products were damaged.

“A piece of outside equipment caught on fire. Somebody saw it and called the fire department,” the employee says.

According to WSAZ, the fire was in the shipping/receiving area, and three departments responded to the call.

As of press time, Jeld-Wen’s corporate office did not respond to request for comment.

Operations at the plant are continuing as usual.
