Raymond Dallaire, a co-founder of Canadian door and window company P.H. Tech, died on December 9.

Dallaire had been ill for several years following his retirement from day-to-day management of the company in 2002.

More than 53 years ago, Raymond and his brother Dominic founded P.H. Tech. Since then, it has become part of the fabric of the community in Lévis, Quebec, both as an employer and as a leading supplier to the industry.

Raymond Dallaire helped move the industry forward by sharing his expertise and enthusiasm.

The family will receive guests at Maison Gomin  in Québec on December 17, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on December 18, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 18, at St-Charles Garnier church in Sillery, Quebec.

  1. RIP – Thoughts and prayers to the family.

  2. I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Dallaire during my time as vinyl window manager at Alumax Building Products in the late 1980s-early 90s. He was indeed among the finest gentlemen I have known in my 33 years in our industry. I am sure he will be missed by many.

  3. Raymond lead PH Tech to become a leader in the vinyl extrusion business. His customers had loyalty and competitors had respect.
Rest in peace Raymond, you earned it.

  4. When I joined the window industry in 1984, I knew no one and was virtually invisible. Certainly, I didn’t exist to the “higher ups”. There was one exception and that was Raymond Dallaire. I can not tell how much the eye contact, smiles and acknowledgements from Mr. Dallaire did for me in my early years. I am very sad at his passing. To quote Shakespeare, “I shall not look upon his like again.”
