VT Industries Inc., of Holstein, Iowa, has acquired Supa Doors, a manufacturer of medium density fiberboard (MDF) doors.

This addition will  expand the VT line to include solid MDF doors for single-family residences, as well as hotels, resorts, assisted-living facilities, large-scale residential developments and more.

“Adding Supa gives VT more great product options to reach into additional market egments, including residential condominiums and high-rise applications,” says Jason Farver, senior vice president of  the company’s architectural wood door division. “The products also fit great with our  current position of strength in the hotel segment. oining forces with the experienced Supa team is  an exciting step forward for VT’s long-term growth plans.”

Supa doors have been made in the USA for almost 20 years. They are manufactured from 100 percent recycled wood fiber, low VOC primer and glue, and No Added  Formaldehyde (NAUF) and FSC certified materials. The patented stile and rail laminated process blends a traditional stile and rail door with the modern manufacturing method of laminated construction.
